After a full career in banking and corporate training, moving into the real estate industry was an easy transition, a natural fit, and a whole lot more fun!

I am personally invested in both single family and multi-family properties, and have worked exclusively for Lifestyles Realty Inc., as a Single-family agent for what seems like a couple of years only, but in reality, has been more than seven years.

It is so rewarding to use my education and investment experience to help others successfully navigate through property acquisition, contract and closing. And when it’s time to sell for equity capture or more ambitious goals – whether it’s a quick and easy sale to a fellow investor, or investment in additional rehab/repairs for top dollar on the multiple listing service – I specialize in helping our members determine their best exit strategies!

Originally from Ohio, I made the strategic decision to relocate to Houston over two decades ago, establishing it as my cherished home.

Throughout my career, I have undertaken diverse responsibilities that involved setting up and cultivating sales teams and offices nationwide within the advertising and marketing industry.

In my previous affiliation, I dedicated just over a year to eXp Realty. Initially, I joined a team with the intention of acquiring a portion of it. However, after careful consideration, I chose an alternative path and found an excellent opportunity with Lifestyles Realty. This transition allowed me to seamlessly merge my extensive expertise with the realm of real estate.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am fortunate to lead a fulfilling personal life. I have two sons and am happily married to my wonderful wife, Melanie. My oldest son proudly serves as an Air Assault Medic in the esteemed US Army, while my youngest recently graduated and embarked on an exciting journey in the Coast Guard.

During my leisure time, I find enjoyment in engaging in sports activities, indulging in boating, spending time at the beach, and pursuing my culinary passions. As a trained chef, I have had the privilege of owning and managing two highly regarded restaurants in the Houston area.

Much of my work was not only running the operations, managing people, finances, growth, and creating income streams but negotiating contracts as well. During those years, I helped design and had over a dozen custom homes built as a hobby. When I moved on to my second career I took my experience and put them to work for my clients specializing in luxury homes as a Realtor/Broker.

I’m a Nashville native and enjoy spending my free time with my husband, children, 6 grandchildren, riding my Peloton, reading, and traveling.

I love Cajun cooking and Texas BBQ! I also play guitar and just picked up the drums a year ago (my neighbors LOVE me!). I purchased my 1st rental property when I was 19 and as a student at LSU. If I’m not working deals you’ probably find me at the fishing camp or offshore.

My investing in real estate started when my wife became pregnant with our third child.  We were facing the future expense of having a newborn, a one-year-old, and a two-year-old in daycare.  As a first-grade teacher, the cost of daycare for three babies would be my entire month’s salary.  My wife and I knew that we had to do SOMETHING.  After exhaustive research, we decided to invest in real estate.  We cashed in our retirement and purchased eight single family properties.  This allowed me to retire from teaching and stay at home with my children.  My family and I could not have made a better decision!  The time spent with my family is simply irreplaceable.  We have continued to purchase single family properties.

Once my children were in school, I joined the Lifestyles Realty team to give back to the Lifestyles community that has given my family so much.  It has been very rewarding to help of members achieve their goals!
